Stories of the Stones is all about women sharing their stories in a safe, supportive environment. As we listen, enjoy, and support each other we also learn about life and what really matters.
At the November meeting, we will meet members of the Tha family who will tell about their escape from persecution in Myanmar (Burma), their years of living in a refugee camp and their arrival and settlement in Canada. Since settling here, they have helped other refugees come to Canada and have used their knowledge and experience to help others adjust. They are active members of the Karen Baptist congregation in Hamilton. Come and hear their experiences as they share their life story.
We will meet in the Fireside room for coffee, tea and muffins.
