Order of Worship for Sunday, September 6, 2020
Pastor: Bruce Adema
Welcome
Call to Worship and God’s Greeting: Psalm 90:1, 2,17
Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.
Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
May the favour of the Lord our God rest on us;
establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.

Testimony of Faith Heidelberg Catechism Q&A 103
What does God require in the fourth commandment?
First,
that the ministry of the gospel and the schools
be maintained and that, especially on the day of rest,
I diligently attend the church of God to hear God’s Word, to use the sacraments,
to call publicly upon the LORD, and to give Christian offerings for the poor.
Second,
that all the days of my life I rest from my evil works,
let the LORD work in me through his Holy Spirit,
and so begin in this life the eternal Sabbath.
Parting Blessing
Closing Song: Workers’ Prayer (Before You I Kneel)
