Love’s Last Words: Words from the Cross
Pastor Bruce provides some instructions for Online Worship
We Gather to Worship Our God
Song of Preparation and Gathering: I Lift My Eyes Up (Psalm 121)
Pastor Bruce welcomes us to worship and God’s Greeting
Call to Worship: Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? The Lord is on my side as my helper; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. Psalm 118:5-8
Song of Praise: Out of the Depths (Psalm 130)
Pastor Bruce leads us in Prayer of Confession and Prayers of the People
Song of Thanksgiving: What Wondrous Love is This
WE HEAR GOD’S WORD
Scripture Reading: Psalm 69:19-21
Message: The word of Distress: I AM THIRSTY
We Go Out in Faith
Pastor Bruce leads us in our shared Testimony of Faith and gives us God’s Blessing
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
God’s Blessing to His People
Closing Song: Holy, Holy, Holy
